Its growth is attributed to growing real estate market, rising incomes, urbanization, influence of social media, demands of working from home and changing fashions of life.
The rapid acceleration of technology (augmented reality, virtual tours, artificial intelligence) has made it possible to build and design user-friendly and adaptable spaces to meet multiple needs.
For today’s interior architecture and design graduates, the work opportunities are immense. You can access any business that creates spaces for people to live, shop, work and play. These include architectural, construction and interior design companies, event management companies, design consultants, retailers, hospitality and leisure spaces, theater, television or film industry and digital content creators.
Beyond the familiar, there are alternative careers such as interior styling and visual merchandising, heritage and conservation architecture, exhibition design, set design, experience design, design furniture, product design and scenography. Relevant work experience introduces employers to your abilities in a professional environment, and creative portfolios showcase your range of abilities. Don’t focus exclusively on what the business can do for you. Instead, show how you can support them. This will help them assess how well you can fit into their work culture and why they should invest in you.

The Design Charrette team had been friends for years and sometimes teamed up to collaborate on competitions, conferences and missions. These interactions made it possible to identify their skills and to create links as a team. They all thirsted for creative freedom.
This dream kept them focused as they gained experience working in different organizations and cities. When the realization arose that it was “now or never”, they simultaneously quit to start TDC. They faced many obstacles, but persistence and faith in their ideas and each other’s abilities kept them alive.
