Full-time: 36.25 hours per week

We are looking for the best creatives, designers, teachers and researchers to join us in the beautiful subtropical region of Southeast China. The Institute of Creativity and Innovation (ICI) is a dual degree institute founded by Xiamen University (XMU) and University of Creative Arts (UCA). We are located at the Zhangzhou XMU campus, which has a park-like feel, with mountains on one side and Amoy Bay on the other. It is a short drive to beautiful beaches or the city of Xiamen, the multicultural center of Southeast China.

This is a unique opportunity to join an institution in its creation and to contribute to its future direction and success.

Our Teaching Fellows and Higher Education Fellows will have a deep understanding of subject-specific principles and their application, combined with the ability to engage and inspire students. You will hold an advanced degree in a relevant discipline, as well as a teaching diploma or equivalent professional experience with at least 2 consecutive years of teaching experience. Active research in the field or continuing professional practice is considered an asset. The positions are on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

The right candidates will have the passion and drive to contribute to the successful establishment of the Institute and the continued development of its course portfolio in line with the needs of emerging Chinese creative industries.
