Overall, we take on large, complex projects, from research and conceptual design to construction administration, installation and project handover, maintaining a consistent vision throughout. each phase. Candidates must be comfortable multi-tasking and must demonstrate strong abilities in the following areas:

• Sophisticated and innovative design sensibility
• Design only through the lens of concept/story/customer experience, not by trend
• Ease of presenting ideas – both internally and externally
• Drafting work at the construction documentation level, including highly articulate design details
• Design custom millwork and FF&E
• See the big picture, i.e. move from trenches of design details to overall project needs easily and seamlessly in order to work efficiently


• Minimum of 2 years (junior designer) or 5 years (intermediate designer) of professional experience in interior design / interior architecture
• Experience in the hotel industry essential; commercial or residential experience an asset
• Knowledge of design and construction methods
• Ability to produce technical documentation (DD, CD/IDD)
• Ability to design and detail custom millwork, furniture and lighting
• AutoCAD – In-depth knowledge, ability to create clean and organized drawing sets using company standards
• Rhino3D or Sketchup – Ability to model architectural models and 3D furniture
• Adobe InDesign – Ability to create client-quality presentations for print and screen
• Adobe Photoshop – In-depth knowledge
• Project management software – Excel/Word etc.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States, without the need for employer sponsorship
