Interior architecture showcase – Isthme

press release: UW-Madison School of Human Ecology Interior Architecture (IA) 2021 showcase showcases the work of AI students who completed the majority of their courses in the studio. The work on display includes design portfolio projects that showcase work from their academic careers. AI Portfolios feature computer-generated virtual representations of commercial and residential spaces, along with traditional hand-drawn illustrations, illustrations and graphics that explain their design process. Join us in celebrating these student achievements as they prepare to graduate and design professionally. This showcase is co-sponsored by the Department of Design Studies at the School of Human Ecology. Opening on December 17 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Join us at reception for a showcase event featuring student projects from the Wearable technology 2021 to classify! (DS518)

In Wearable Technology, students create innovative and experimental designs that integrate textiles, technology and the body. Students in the class explore new ways to integrate microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators to build working prototypes. Between learning skills in hands-on manufacturing, electronics, and computer programming, students also take a crash course in manufacturing tech-rich wearable devices. The projects generated in the course range from pragmatic to playful. Some projects may aim to save lives while others offer new ways of looking at the world around us.
