Dwell With Dignity’s annual fundraiser kicks off with designer blender in Highland Park

Live with dignity is perhaps one of the best-known nonprofits in North Texas, which is a great honor considering how many nonprofits call Dallas-Fort Worth home. The blend of interior design and philanthropy creates a powerful combination that no Dallasite can resist.

For those unfamiliar, Dwell with Dignity designs and installs complete home interiors for families in desperate need of an environment conducive to health and well-being. It allows families to lead their best lives and thrive in a safe, functional and beautiful environment. Families can then become stable and create a family life of which they are proud. Dwell with Dignity shows that design can create generational impact.

The organization’s annual fundraiser is Savings workshop – a pop-up store that sells high-end designer furniture, homewares, accessories and finds to the public. Since its launch in 2011, Thrift Studio has become a highly anticipated and Do not miss event for the interior design community, those looking for a fabulous deal on home furnishings and North Texans with a heart for the mission. Shoppers will find stunning thumbnails created by leading designers, showrooms and retailers showcasing high-end home décor items offered as gifts and sold at deep discounts. 100% of sales benefit Dwell with Dignity’s mission and provide one-third of Dwell with Dignity’s operating revenue.

To launch Thrift Studio fashionableJason Williams and Thrift Studio President Richard Graziano hosted an intimate “Designer Mixer” at their Highland Park home to welcome the new class of nine esteemed interior designers who dedicate their time and talent to Thrift Studio 2022. This year’s designers include Burkle Creative, Hayslip Design, Jena Salmon, Kristen Mullen, Lark Interiors, Lovelyest Home, ML Interiors Group, Peacock Alley and Scout Design Studio.

As you would expect with a mixer full of interior designers, every detail was divine and the aesthetic was on point for the season. Guests sipped ranch waters while mingling poolside on a beautiful spring day. And Texas-style, the tacos al pastor were sliced on the trompo in real time.

Admission to the Thrift Studio 2022 pop-up store will be free and open to the public from August 26 through September 24. Keep your eyes open for the location to be announced soon.
